ANNE MICHI ALDERETE wields over a decade of expertise, passion for and knowledge of the hospitality PR and marketing industry and has worked extensively with Michelin-starred chefs and restaurants, domestic and international destinations, hotels, wine and spirits. She has ideated and executed PR strategies for a wide variety of hospitality brands including n/naka, Angler (SF and LA), Kikori Whiskey, Terranea Resort, Ojai Visitors Bureau, Tourism Western Australia, Madrona Manor, Crescere Wines, Carneros Resort & Spa, Tsurutokame (Tokyo) and Inn Ann.
Prior to her hospitality PR career, Anne worked in entertainment television as Managing Editor for TV Guide Network after a stint managing high-profile bands in the music industry. Her ability to form trusted relationships with talent and think with a producer’s mind have translated into securing in-depth features for clients in A-list national outlets such as The New Yorker, Sunset, Food & Wine, Entrepreneur, Robb Report, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Outside and Travel + Leisure. When she’s not working you can find her watching one of two-dozen YouTube Channels about travel, buying too many Japanese ceramics and collecting tinned seafood.
KAT NGUYEN-DE ANGELIS brings more than 20 years of public relations and journalism expertise to clients, with both agency PR experience and a decade-long career as a staff writer for one of the top 25 newspapers in the country, covering food and fashion.
She has led PR efforts for an array of major retail properties across the U.S., including high-profile luxury shopping destinations such as South Coast Plaza, Fashion Island, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta and River Oaks District. As a result, Kat has worked with a wide breadth of established retail brands and dining concepts, from luxury brands such as Cartier, Chopard and Roger Vivier, to retail juggernauts such as Nordstrom and Target, to Anthropologie and West Elm. Restaurants/food & beverage brands that Kat has worked with over the years include Patina Restaurant Group, MB Post/Chef David LeFevre, Marché Moderne, Hello Kitty Cafe and more.
During her tenure at The Orange County Register, Kat devoted much ink to food trend features, restaurant reviews and travel pieces. She has also written for Zagat, WHERE Magazine and Orange Coast Magazine. When she’s not working or hanging with her boys at home, Kat is contemplating how to find enough time to write a guide to Vietnamese food across the U.S.
