Known for her sharp storytelling and producer’s mindset, she has led high-impact campaigns for globally-recognized chefs and hospitality concepts, consistently securing top-tier national coverage. Half-Japanese and bilingual in Japanese and English, Anne lived in Tokyo and has become a go-to expert on Japanese food and culture, as well as promoting Japanese brands to North American audiences. She began her career in entertainment and music, a background that shapes her strategic, relationship-driven approach to media. Off the clock, she’s curating Japanese café playlists, exploring tinned seafood, and cooking - with her twin cats Sophie and Gigi in tow.

Kat brings over 15 years of experience in PR and journalism, with a career that spans agency work and a decade as a food and lifestyle writer for one of the top 25 newspapers in the country. Known for her editorial instincts and big-picture thinking, she leads campaigns that generate buzz and shape brand identity. A former news scribe with deep curiosity for culture and community, Kat has a knack for coaxing quiet culinary forces into breakout names. Editors often tell her she “gets it”—mining compelling angles and packaging story pitches in ways that make coverage feel seamless and essential. She’s especially passionate about championing underdogs and emerging talent in food, helping turn overlooked stories into national conversations. When she’s not launching brands or leading restaurant openings, she’s mapping out her dream project: a cross-country guide to Vietnamese food in America.
